Committed to creating healthy, vibrant communities
We believe our success is measured by the health and vibrancy of the lives we touch and the environments we create. From green building to community building, from quality living to responsible investing, our commitment to people and the planet is an important part of what we do. It’s one of the things we’re most proud of.
For us, sustainability isn't just about being environmentally conscious. It's about the actions we take to invest in building a sustainable future by consuming fewer natural resources, minimizing waste and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, while providing customers with modern spaces to live, work and play in. It's our priority today - and it will continue to be in the future.
We are proud to share our 10th annual report on environmental and sustainability initiatives. It demonstrates our thoughtful and long-standing commitment to the health, safety and vibrancy of the lives we touch and the environments we create.

THE BENEFITS OF GREEN
Leaving the world better than we found it
To build on our legacy, we must continue to ask ourselves: How can we leave the world better than we found it? When we work together in our communities to live a more sustainable life, the benefits are something we can all enjoy.

LIVING GREEN AT HOME
What does it mean to live a more sustainable life?
It’s different for everyone. It could be learning how to go ‘zero-waste’ or reducing your energy consumption. It could also mean choosing to ride your bike to work or planting a garden in your backyard. Whatever you choose, going greener does the body (and planet) good.
