Ottawa, ON – October 1, 2013 – In connection with its funding campaign for the Trades Institute of La Cité collégiale, the La Cité Collégiale Foundation is proud of its partnership with Minto Communities Canada. Today Minto delivered its fifth payment of $100,000 under a 10-year agreement to give $1M to La Cité collégiale Foundation for the Minto Trade Centre – Alphonse-Desjardins campus.

Ottawa, ON – 2013 – The Minto Group's new recreation complex under construction in Barrhaven South is now officially named the Minto Recreation Complex – Barrhaven. The name was unveiled by Mayor Jim Watson, Councillor Mark Taylor and ward Councillor Jan Harder at the latest sponsorship announcement under the City’s Community Champions program. Roger Greenberg of Minto was recognized with a Certificate of Recognition in the Leader Category.

With ecoEII financial support, Minto will work with leading residential experts in building science and energy efficiency to plan, design, and construct five zero energy homes.

This highest standard in LEED certification makes the 20-storey commercial building the first LEED® Platinum Core and Shell office tower in Canada.
