For Minto Communities Canada, what happens in Vegas certainly doesn’t stay in Vegas. The company has been proudly boasting about the 19 awards it won last month at the National Association of Home Builders 2015 National Sales and Marketing Awards in Las Vegas, the event’s 35th year. Minto took home three gold and 16 silver awards.
Now in the pre-construction phase, Minto Communities Canada's condominium project, Minto Westside, at the northeast corner of Bathurst and Front Sts. is scheduled for occupancy in 2018. It will have amenities designed to appeal to millennials, including two floors worth of large, interactive spaces described as an “adult playground”.
Minto Communities Canada and North Drive teamed up to create a condominium development that will combine the best of luxury living, from a smaller building with bigger suites to an urban infill site with a parkside setting in Yorkville. This 25-storey high-rise, called Minto Yorkville Park, will be located at 88 Cumberland St.
To showcase some of the practices that are changing the future of home building, industry delegates took part in the Ontario Home Builders’ Association tour. It visited visited Minto Communities Canada's Southshore, a stacked townhouse project in Long Branch, which an OHBA group saw last year while the site was under construction.
