DRHBA: Durham builders are at the top of their game
Once again many companies that build in Durham have made the Ontario Home Builders’ Association’s finalists list for their incredible workmanship. The incredible achievements of Durham Region Home Builders were celebrated at the annual Awards of Excellence, held at Deer Creek Golf and Banquet Facility. Outstanding achievement awards were presented to Minto Communities Canada and Jeffery Homes who were honoured as Builder of the Year large volume and small volume respectively.

Toronto developer offers free Nissan LEAF EVs to condo buyers
Minto Communities Canada is giving prospective buyers a free ride. The first 20 purchasers of a condo in the new Bside condo at Minto Westside development in downtown Toronto will get a new Nissan LEAF EV at no extra charge. Minto is building an electrical transformer into its Bside development to handle electric vehicle charging, something most other high-rise buildings haven’t done.

Committed to building a sustainable future, Minto Communities Canada is launching an offer for the first 20 purchasers of Bside, the second phase of Minto Westside at Front and Bathurst. Those who buy a parking space equipped with an EV charging station along with their condo, will receive a Nissan Leaf S electric car.

Minto Communities Canada hasn't needed model homes to sell buyers on its latest low-rise community 30 minutes north of Toronto. The first two blocks of houses released for phase one sold quickly earlier this year. The third block in phase one has prices starting in the low $300,000s for townhouses and mid-$500,000s for detached houses.
